Each year, AWL and Marquette University Law School’s AWL host a Mentoring Event to connect Milwaukee-area attorneys with law students. This is a fun event for both attorneys and students to meet and discuss their experiences from navigating law school to a career path after graduation. We hope these discussions lead to relationships that continue beyond the event. Members in all practice areas and nontraditional legal careers are strongly encouraged to participate.
Starting at 5:30 p.m. we will have complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar for a casual cocktail hour. At 6:00, the mentoring event will begin with students meeting with each lawyer for a few minutes before moving to the next attorney. The mentoring itself will end at approximately 7:30, followed by time to network with the other mentors and students you may not have met during the event.
