Women Judges’ Night is the Association for Women Lawyers' premiere annual event. For over four decades, we have gathered to recognize the women in our profession who serve on the bench. This year's keynote speaker will be Hon. Pamela Pepper, chief judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
Please note the new location: Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel. Cocktails and networking will be from 5:00-6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and our speaker.
We will also be celebrating 26 years of providing scholarships to women law students. Be sure to visit the display at the event to learn what some of our prior recipients have been up to.
In conjunction with Women Judges' Night, AWL will hold a donation drive to support the Milwaukee Diaper Mission. The Milwaukee Diaper Mission accepts diapers and period products to share with babies and families in Milwaukee who lack these basic necessities, along with monetary donations to purchase such items. The most needed items currently are baby wipes, size 4, 5 & 6 diapers, pull-up diapers, regular tampons, and super tampons. More information can be found on their website.
