Moms in the Bar Virtual Book Discussion

  • Wednesday, September 29, 2021
  • 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
  • via Zoom

Local author and fellow lawyer mom, Laura Jamison, will lead a discussion on her book, All the Right Mistakes. The novel is set in the Milwaukee area and focuses on the lives of five college friends—two of whom are lawyers. One is at a big law firm and one is in-house; one has children and one doesn’t.

RSVP to Christa Wittenberg by 9/27 if you plan to attend and she will send you the Zoom link. Laura will be giving away a few extra copies of her book—we will draw names at the event to identify our winners.

Laura Jamison was formerly with Foley & Lardner LLP and is now Associate General Counsel at A.O. Smith Corporation. She lives in Whitefish Bay with her husband and four children. When she is not practicing law or writing, she is driving her kids to one of their many activities. Laura is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Michigan Law School. This is her first book. To learn more visit her website.

The book is available locally at Boswell Books and on Amazon. It is truly wonderful and, even if you aren’t available for the discussion, every lawyer mom will benefit from reading the book. At the end of the day, we are all trying to do our best and be successful in whatever way we define success—both as a mom and as a lawyer. While we might not feel like we succeeding, in the end, we might be making all the right mistakes.
