Join your fellow lady litigators for an informal discussion about litigating as a female in 2019. Many of you may have read The Atlantic’s article last fall, “What It Takes To Be a Trial Lawyer If You’re Not a Man." This article had familiar anecdotes for a lot of us. We would like to gather with our other litigators to have a structured discussion about the barriers we have faced and still face, and exchange stories and advice to help each other. This will be brown bag, so please bring your own lunch to enjoy while we talk. Please let Krista Rosolino know if you will be attending. Registration is not required but it helps us to have the proper room size. We look forward to seeing you, and we hope that our new members (welcome!) will join us as well. As a preview, we are planning a CLE on appeals for May or June. We are currently focusing on civil appeals only, but we can add a panelist for criminal appeals if there is interest. If you would like to hear from an attorney that practices criminal appellate work, please let Krista or Gaby know.
