Thursday, November 06, 2014
12:00 PM - 1:10 PM

This presentation, by attorney Dawn L. Drellos-Thompson, is for attorneys who are looking to communicate better with clients and meet client expectations involving litigation cases. It is particularly helpful for new lawyers or lawyers from small and medium size firms that want to add another case management tool to their practice.
There are many benefits in having a litigation plan:
An excellent lawyer-client communication tool that compliments a fee agreement
Assists with settlement negotiations
A good planning tool for case strategy, pre-trial activities etc.
Creates a better understanding between the lawyer and client as to the cost of litigation
Helps the lawyer access the strengths and weaknesses of the case
May assist in defending against fee disputes, malpractice claims, ethics charges
This is a brown bag lunch, but beverages will be provided. 1 CLE credit will be applied for. Contact
